Making a web series

I’m currently spending most of my time working on an animated web series. Mercifully I’m not doing the animation. We have thirteen episodes written and I’ve got the first episode almost totally drawn.

The show is about the staff of a small zoo, and the animals in their care. I watched a rough working draft of episode one and I am excited about it.

I’m not sure how we’ll roll out the episodes, but I will post them here when they’re done.

And while I’m here I want to say thanks for reading and looking at the comics. The site has about 585 email followers and then there are about 30 or so of you who like the posts here on wordpress.

And I know some of you have been following for a while by now. **Actually I just went back and checked and a lot of you have been following for over a year! THAT MAKES ME FEEL EMOTIONS!**

I appreciate all of you is the point!

Stick around and watch this show when I finish it why don’t you?!

Cool! Looking forward to it. You’re also doing way better than I am at getting new followers. My followers are loyal, but I have a tough time some weeks getting new eyes at the blog. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoy your work, Mark. You always bring a smile to my face and your quirky sense of humour resonates with me. Good luck on this project! I have a couple of zoo poems on my other blog that might inspire you! Kat

    Shoot! You are “Mark” right?😉

  5. mcgettigan says:

Ha! Mark my words my name is John. But now I know your name is Kat! It’s interesting being on the internet and encountering people often without learning stuff like their names. I will check out those zoo poems!

I am mixing you up with a Fantasy Soccer manager by the same name. The poems are on my Poetikat Unbound blog. One is under the post “Monkey Business”; the other is called “Zoo Game”.

    I’ll check them out. 🙂
